Northwest OL Sets First Official Visit

Josh Tschirgi, a 6-4, 261 pound offensive lineman from Vancouver (Wash.) Skyview is still getting calls from schools all over the Northwest, including Oregon State, and has landed a couple of more offers. He has also set up his first official visit and names his top five.

"Idaho State was my first offer and since then, Portland State and Montana have also offered," Tschirgi said. "I have a visit lined up with Idaho State for December 6. They said that is normally the weekend reserved for JUCO players, but due to my schedule, that's the only weekend I could go." Tschirgi said he's also hearing from several of the Pac 10 schools although no one has stepped up with an offer yet.

"I'm getting calls from Oregon, Washington, Oregon State, Washington State, Stanford, Montana, Idaho, Idaho State, Boise State, Portland State and each Ivy league school has called me once,"Tschirgi said. "The four Northwest schools call me every week and those are my favorite colleges right now along with Portland State.

"They all want me to send in a tape of some of plays from my first three games and I'm doing that right now. Our team is playing well, we are 2-1 and things are going good overall."
