Jeffers Verbals to Oregon State

Kyle Jeffers, a 6-8, 210 power forward from Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa, CA committed to the Beavers early Wednesday.

Jeffers narrowed his list to three schools in late September to Santa Clara, Oregon State, and UC Santa Barbara.

The past three weeks Jeffers visited each school to help him make his final decision. After getting back from his third visit, Jeffers chose Oregon State.

The athletic forward said he wanted to play at the highest level possible, therefore he picked a Pac-10 school over a West Coast Conference school, Santa Clara and a Big West school, Cal Santa Barbara.

According to TheInsiders recruiting experts, Jeffers is an aggressive, active big man with a tremendous upside.

He has good hands and feet, but unrefined offensive skills. He gives 100% on both sides of the floor and moves well for a big man.

Jeffers is the second big man to commit to the Beavers in the past two days. Liam Hughes, a 7-1 center, verballed to the Beavers on Tuesday.
