'08 class - The cream of the crop

These are the players that are ready to play in the Pac-10 right now. Three players, one prep and two JUCO players make this list.

RB Jacquizz Rodgers (5-6, 180) - A record setting running back from Texas who was nicknamed "Mr. Touchdown" by his teammates as he set the state record for career touchdowns with 136.  The Parade All-American is the complete package with great speed, balance and vision.  He is expected to be in the mix for starting running back duties as a true freshman.

RB Jeremy Francis (6-1, 220) - A second team All-Mission conference selection at El Camino last year Francis is a big, bruising tailback with great hands who can do a little bit of everything.  He is expected to arrive in the summer and compete with Rodgers and Ryan McCants for the starting tailback position.

DE Simi Kuli (6-4, 270) - One of the most highly rated recruits ever to sign with Oregon State Kuli is regarded as the top JUCO player in the nation. The JUCO All-American is a pass rushing specialist who has just under four years of football under his belt and enough talent to make it to the NFL.  He needs to pass five to six classes before joining the team in the fall when he will compete for a starting defensive end spot.
