Beavs offer in-state hoss

RECRUITING NEVER STOPS. Even though it's barely been a week since the Oregon State class of 2008 signed their Letters of Intent, the recruiting class of 2009 is now front and center. One prospect who already holds an offer from the Beavers is Charles Siddoway, a mountainous 6-foot-7, 300-pound OL/DL prospect out of Eugene.

Siddoway hails from Marist High and sources close to his recruitment told Scout.com Wednesday that Boise State, Oregon and Oregon State have all offered.

Marist senior Bronson Durrant recently signed a letter of intent with Boise State, Oregon is only 10 minutes from Marist and Oregon State is less than 45 minutes away from Eugene.

While most schools are looking at Siddoway offensively, he does play both ways for the Spartans. He is currently ranked No. 86 in the Scout.com National Hot 100 for the class of 2009, a living document that will be updated continually over the course of the recruiting year.

Siddoway was a second team all-league selection on defense this past season, an honorable mention recipient on offense.
