Another OSU game picked for broadcast

ANOTHER OREGON STATE game has been selected for television broadcast, meaning four of the first five games in Oregon State's 2008 season will be nationally televised.

The Versus Network has selected the Oct. 2 Oregon State at Utah football game to be televised nationally. The broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. PDT from Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

In the opening tilr of the two game home-and-home series, Oregon State won last year's season opener for both clubs 24-7 at Reser Stadium.

The selection means four of the first five games of the season will be nationally televised. Other games selected for broadcast are expected to occur in the coming months and during the season.

The season opens is Thursday, Aug. 28 against Stanford on ESPN. ABC or ESPN will televise the Beavers at Penn State on Sept. 6. ESPN will carry the Sept. 25 matchup at Reser Stadium against USC.
