Dennis Dixon Talks About His Visit To Oregon State

Dennis Dixon, 6-3, 180 pound quarterback from San Leandro (Calif.) took his first official visit this year to Oregon State and came home raving about his time in Corvallis.

"I loved the game, it was CRAZY," Dixon said. "When I was standing on the sidelines, someone yelled out 'Dennis Dixon you're the man!' I could not believe it. Those are the best fans I have ever seen."

"Coach Erickson and Coach Lappanno were great, they were very up front and honest and were easy to talk to. In different ways both of them reminded me a lot of Coach Nady (assistant coach at San Leandro). Coach Nady really encouraged me to take this trip and he promised I would love it and he was right! I really thank him for pushing me to take the trip. I could see myself playing for them."

"I really didn't know what to expect but the trip really opened my eyes, it was awesome! The players were cool the fans were great and the campus was really nice. Oregon State is going to be good for a long time! I am very high on OSU now and I am VERY glad I took the trip."

Dixon will next visit Washington (Dec. 13), Oregon (Dec. 20) and USC (Jan. 17). He hasn't decided on a 5th trip yet but is still looking at Cal, UCLA and Arizona State.
