Vote for Pontiac Game Changing Performance

In the biggest upset of the weekend, Oregon State simply outplayed #1 USC in the first half, leaving a deficit far too great for USC to overcome. Sophomore receiver James Rodgers made a difficult catch on a deflected pass for a touchdown to give Oregon State a 21-0 halftime lead en route to a 27-21 upset over USC earning the Beavers a Pontiac Game Changing Performance nomination.

Now it is up to Oregon State fans to determine if the Beavers will earn a Pontiac Game Changing Performance for week five of the 2008 NCAA® Football Season. OSU fans can go to, where they can view video clips of the four finalists and vote for the Beavers!

Voting begins on Sunday morning and ends at midnight on Wednesday. ESPN will announce this week's Pontiac Game Changing Performance winner on Thursday night, during the Pontiac G6 Halftime Report.

The winning university earns a $5,000 contribution from Pontiac to their general scholarship fund. Additionally, the winning play will be nominated for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year award and the chance to win a $100,000 general scholarship contribution from Pontiac.

In addition, each week one lucky individual who visits, will also win a $5,000 scholarship for them self or someone in their family.

"Awarding $1.5 million since its inception, the Pontiac Game Changing Performance program continues to be a great example of how passionate fans can have a positive impact academically and athletically by generating scholarship dollars for university-wide programs," said Rece Davis, ESPN.
