Last time Oregon State and Oregon met...
Dec. 1, 2007 - Oregon State 38, Oregon 31
Oregon and Oregon State closed out the regular season at Eugene and, as noted, the Beavers snapped a 10-year streak of the home team winning the Civil War with a thrilling 38-31 double overtime victory.

The Ducks and Beavers were tied at 21 at halftime and 28-28 at the end of regulation forcing the overtime. The teams traded field goals in the first overtime before OSU freshman James Rodgers dashed 25 yards for a TD on the first play of the second overtime.

The Beavers stopped the Ducks on four downs on the following possession to claim the OT win ... more from BF.com.

Last time Oregon played in Corvallis...
Oct. 24, 2006 - Oregon State 30, Oregon 28
Oregon and Oregon State closed out the Conference season at Corvallis and played a thriller in a driving rain. OSU PK Alexis Serna kicked a 40-yard field goal with 1:12 left and then the Beavers blocked Oregon's potential game-winning kick less than a minute later and Oregon State hung on for a 30-28 win as the home team won the Civil War for the 10th consecutive year.

In addition to his game-winner, Serna also connected from 49 and 50 yards. For Oregon, Brady Leaf made his first career start and passed for 274 yards and a TD and TB Jonathan Stewart rushed for 94 yards and three TD ... more from BF.com.

Last time Oregon played...
Nov. 15, 2008 in Eugene - Oregon 55, Oregon 45
Mike Bellotti had to be wondering if he somehow woke up in the middle of the fourth quarter and was in the Twilight Zone or some other bad dream. When his Oregon Ducks had gone into halftime at Autzen Stadium, they held a 45-17 lead but in the second half the Arizona Wildcats rolled up 24 points to pull within 3 and scare the beegeebes out of everybody.

“I told our coaches and players at halftime that the score really doesn’t matter,” said Bellotti. “We got them, we made the most of our breaks and we have to continue to make those breaks. We didn’t make those breaks in fact we had some breaks go against us in the second half, and we need to be aware we were in for a battle." ... more from eDuck.com.

Last time Oregon State played...
Nov. 22, 2008 in Tucson - No. 21 Oregon State 19, Arizona 17
JUST HOW MANY GUTCHECK WINS do these guys have in them? Trailing 17-16 with 1:19 left and 80 yards to go, Oregon State calmly, with ice cold precision, marched to a redemption seizing FG by Justin Kahut -- keyed by a 47-yard strike from Sean Canfield to Sammie Stroughter -- and knocked off Arizona 19-17. With Quizz injured early, the number of key Beaver performers was almost too lengthy to list.

James Rodgers left it all out on the field. With brother and star RB Jacquizz Rodgers going down to injury in the first quarter (early reports called it a slight shoulder separation) James racked up more than 100 yards on the fly sweep to pace Oregon State on the ground ... more from the BF.com.

Series history (Oregon leads 55-46-10, 26-19-5 in Corvallis).
Oregon and Oregon State have met 111 times with OSU winning the first matchup 16-0 in 1894. Oregon leads the series 55-46-10, including 26-19-5 in Corvallis.

The Beavers hold a two game winning streak against Oregon and have won three of the last four. The two game winning streak is the first time OSU has beat the Ducks in back to back seasons since 1973-74.

Last season's win in Eugene was the first time the visiting team won since 1996. OSU has won the last five Civil Wars in Corvallis dating to 1998.
