SHORT RECAP: Poor tackling and an inability to stop the run spelled doom for Oregon State as Penn State rumbled for 239 ground yards -- 7.0 yards per carry and four touchdowns -- as the Nittany Lions jumped out to a 28-point lead in the first half before OSU even got on the board. One of the few bright spots was the performance of Jacquizz Rodgers, who gained 99 tough yards in a hint of things to come.

KEY STAT: 239 - The number of rushing yards PSU had. They averaged 7.0 ypc while running for four touchdowns.
