2008 RETRO GAME 6: WSU at Oregon State

AFTER THE LOST opportunity that was Utah, Oregon State looked to bounce back strong in their matchup with Washington State. Mission accomplished and then some, as the Beavers put up over 500 yards on offense on the board, the D fired on all cylinders in the third quarter and OSU turned a single digit first half lead into a romp with a dominant performance on both sides of the ball.

SHORT RECAP: Oregon State ran roughshod over Washington State in the second half, turning a single digit lead at halftime into a 66-13 laugher. Oregon State kept the Cougars in it early throwing a surprising four picks, but the Beaver defense held the Cougars to minus yardage in the third quarter and the OSU offense found their stride. Jacquizz Rodgers ran wild, with 146 first half rushing yards on 18 carries.

KEY STAT: 548 - The number of total yards the Beaver offense generated.
