2008 RETRO FINALE GAME 13: OSU vs. Pitt

RECRUITING NEWS fast and furious the past week-plus temporarily interrupted the 2008 season retrospective but it's back and with the defensive slugfest to top them all. The Oregon State stop corps was in search of redemption in the Sun Bowl, and a final Top 25 ranking for the Beavers would be had if OSU could best No. 18 Pitt and slow down their All-America running back -- and did they ever.

P Johnny Hekker was superb, taking home the special team player of the game honors after averaging 45.0 yards 10 punts.
