WHEN WELL CONDITIONED athletes crack helmets for 2-3 hours it's not surprising that injuries, major and minor, are the result. With seven practices in the books this spring, trainer Barney Graff's life is getting significantly busier. Here's the latest rundown from the Oregon State injury front at just before the midway point of the 15-practice spring session.

The list of sidelined Beavers has now reached a dozen. The following injuries have all been variously reported by The Corvallis Gazette-Times, The Oregonian and/or BF.C.

  • WR Kyle Brown (Achilles) - out for the month
  • OG Michael Lamb (knee) - hurt his left knee late Friday and missed Monday's practice, getting a MRI this week
  • OT Wilder McAndrews (wirst) - out for the month
