Sought CB Grandon narrows list to final two

THREE-STAR ATHLETE Jourdan Grandon has double digit offers, including four from Pac-10 schools. And the prospect who is rated in the nation's top 50 at cornerback has narrowed his list from 13 all the way down to a final two schools. And one of them wears the black and orange.

For CB Jourdan Grandon, rated the No. 46 prep corner prospect in the nation, the Beavers and Sun Devils are the two he will more than likely choose from when it is all said and done, he tells Scout.com.

Grandon comments on each.

On ASU: "I have been on two unofficial visits and I really like the campus. It is more like a mini-town versus a college campus."

On OSU: "I really like the area it is in plus they are building up their program, I like what they did last year."

Grandon currently holds 13 offers; from Oregon State, Arizona State, Arizona, Washington, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, Colorado State, Boise State, Colorado, San Diego State and Portland State.

Grandon (5-11 185) was a junior season standout on both sides of the all in 2008, earning all-region accolades as a QB after accounting for 2,200 yards of offense and 19 TDs.

From his corner spot he made 38 tackles and 4 picks helping the Knights reach the 5A2 state title game.

Most schools are recruiting him as a defensive back.
