Fall camp coming up fast at OSU

CAN YOU feel it? The kickoff for Oregon State's fall camp is now less than four weeks away. The Beavs will be looking in 2009 to complete their fourth straight season ranked in the Top 25 and head to their ninth bowl game in 11 years. In case you missed it earlier on BF.C, here is the fall camp schedule.

Fall camp practices are open to the public and are generally held at the Tommy Prothro Football Complex, located between the Sports Performance Center and the Truax Indoor Center. During two-a-days, the second practice will be held in Reser Stadium.

The first official practice of the 2009 Oregon State fall camp is Monday, Aug. 10.

The first five days of practice are an NCAA mandated "acclimation period" -- meaning less than full pads and no multi-practice days.

The Beavs will first don full gear on Friday, Aug. 14.

The first two-a-day practice is slated for Saturday, Aug. 15, with an 8 a.m. session followed by one at 6:30 p.m.

Game officials are tentatively to be present on Aug. 22 and Aug. 29 for scrimmaging, though other practices are expected to contain scrimmaging as well.
