Julius Barnes scored 27 points, one short of his career high, as Stanford pulled away from USC in the final minutes for an 80-72 victory Saturday. Josh Childress had his sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds as the Cardinal (14-5, 5-2 in the Pac-10) beat the Trojans for the first time in four games.   • USC swept the season series last year and have won six of the last seven, including a seven game win streak over the Beavers at the Sports Arena.

  • The last six losses to USC in Los Angeles were by double digits.

  • The Trojans have allowed only one team (Penn, 72%) to shoot better than 50% against them this year.

  • USC has forced at least 10 turnovers in 41 consecutive games.

  • Henry Bibby has used the same starting lineup for all Pac-10 games this season.

  • Gregg Guenther Jr. also plays for the USC football team at the tight end position.
