INJURY REPORT: Post-spring edition

LINEBACKER KEITH PANKEY has an aggressive goal -- to be full-on ready for fall camp. And there are physical signs that he is improving -- he is no longer on crutches nor is he wearing a walking boot. Here's a look at the Oregon State injury situation coming out of spring drills.

Offense

PLAYER: OG Grant Johnson

INJURY: Shoulder

STATUS: Expected to be ready for fall camp

 

PLAYER: TE Joe Halahuni

INJURY: Ankle

STATUS: Sat out a couple of practices, but will be fully healed for fall camp

 

PLAYER: OT Michael Philipp

INJURY: Knee

STATUS: Had arthroscopic knee surgery Wed., Apr. 7 and is expected to be ready for fall camp

 

PLAYER: OT Rory Ross

INJURY: Knee

STATUS: Currently rehabbing and is expected to participate in fall camp

 

PLAYER: RB Jovan Stevenson

INJURY: Hip pointer

STATUS: The sophomore was limited in the spring game and will be fully healed for fall camp.

 

Defense

PLAYER: DT Mitchel Hunt

INJURY: Knee

STATUS: Had additional surgery on his knee Wed., Apr. 7.  Has not played in spring ball, but will be back in the fall

 

PLAYER: CB Sean Martin

INJURY: Shoulder

STATUS: Spent the month rehabbing and is expected to be back in August

 

PLAYER: LB Keith Pankey

INJURY: Knee

STATUS: Left his crutches behind early in April; no longer wearing a walking boot in late April. Best case scenario is he is back for fall camp, but seems more realistic to say probably not until a couple of weeks into the season.

 

PLAYER: DE Mana Rosa

INJURY: Shoulder

STATUS: Spent the month rehabbing and should be back in the fall

 

PLAYER: LB Kevin Unga

INJURY: Pelvis

STATUS:  Missed several practices which slowed him down; but should be fully healed before August
