Beavers offer highly rated QB

OREGON STATE HAS offered a quarterback who is a member of the Scout 300 Watch List. He's also ranked No. 20 nationally as well as the top rated QB prospect in Northern California for the 2011 class.

A new Pac-10 offer is the latest for the San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty quarterback, Kyle Boehm him thirteen offers in all.

"Oregon State offered Kyle," said trainer, A.J. Rangel.

The Beavers join fellow Pac-10 schools Arizona State, Washington and California in offering Boehm. In addition, he has offers from Big 12 schools Kansas State, Texas Tech and Colorado, Mountain West offers from Wyoming, Colorado State and San Diego State, Big Ten offers from Illinois and Northwestern and a hometown offer from San Jose State.

Boehm is a member of the Scout 300 Watch List for 2011 and is the top rated quarterback prospect in Northern California.

As a junior, Boehm earned WCAL Co-Player of the Year honors and was named WCAL First Team at quarterback.
