BF.C OFFER TABLES: Offense ramps up

IT WAS just a matter of time. After OSU made the defense a priority this past Signing Day, inking 12 of their 18 on that side of the ball, the Beavers' focus this class is offense. And with the May Evaluation period at full throttle, the BF.C offer tables are reflecting that. A positional recruiting breakdown with notes, the pledge board, numbers, facts, figures and much more, right this way..

The BF.C offer tables have undergone a transformation over the past two weeks during the May Evaluation, with Oregon State full rides piling up on the offensive side.

Oregon State has now extended 31 known offers to players listed by as offensive prospects. They're not exactly ignoring the future black shirts either, though, with 23 OSU offers extended to defensive players.

While recruiting is year-round for the Beavs, at Oregon State the May Evaluation period is when things truly hit overdrive. And the Beavs' 54 offers out on the table is believed to be a program high for this point in May.

Seven Oregon State coaches (the maximum allowed by the NCAA to be on the road at one time during the May Evaluation period) will continue to work the recruiting trail between now and May 31, excluding Sundays. Mike Riley, as with all head coaches, is not allowed on the road to recruit during this time, ever since a rules change that was driven by the SEC a couple years ago was enacted.

So that means the Beaver assistant coaches are hitting the high schools to visit with prep coaches, watch workouts and film, and conduct their evaluations. And they'll be carting a lot of film back to Corvallis so the head man can break it down and decide on whether the Beavs offer a prospect. Where are all the assistant coaches?

Mark Banker's recruiting territory is Hawaii and the San Fernando Valley, Danny Langsdorf recruits Washington, Oklahoma, Idaho and Montana. Joe Seumalo recruits San Jose and the Inland Empire. Mike Cavanaugh handles Arizona and the Palm Desert region of California. Jay Locey's recruiting areas are Oregon and Northern California. Bruce Read is in the Bay Area and Pasadena. Greg Newhouse recruits the San Joaquin Valley and Nevada. Reggie Davis recruits Orange County and San Diego, plus Texas. And Keith Heyward covers Oakland and Los Angeles.

Here are the BF.C offer tables, putting tons of just-updated recruiting information at your fingertips.
