Bozikovich, 6-2, 270 pounds was an All-League selection on both sides of the ball as a junior. He has good size and strength and showed very good athleticism at the Nike Camp running a 5.28 in the 40 with a 4.53 clocking in the shuttle.
In the one on one drills, we liked Bozikovich's burst off the ball and how quickly he can get up the field. Although he would make a solid guard prospect, the lineman prefers defense and wants to be recruited as a defensive tackle.
On the recruiting front, Bozikovich is hearing from schools all over the country. Portland State has offered a scholarship and he's hearing from most of the Pac 10 along with Vanderbilt, Georgia, Penn State, Michigan, Oklahoma and the Ivy League.
"Oregon and UCLA are my top schools followed by Miami, Oregon State and Vandy," Bozikovich said. "I'm looking at the strength of the football program as my primary reason for picking a school."
Bozikovich will attend the Nike Camp in Eugene (Ore.) as well as Oregon State's football camp. Academically, he's carrying a 3.2 GPA and will take the SAT in April.
