OPPONENT TRACKER: Week 1

OREGON STATE's 2010 opponents put up a combined 7-4 record during week one of the college football season. Here's more...

LOUISVILLE (0-1)
vs. Cardinals, Sept. 18

Senior running back Bilal Powell rushed for a career-best 156 yards, but it was not enough as Louisville opened the Charlie Strong era with a disappointing 23-16 home loss to rival Kentucky on Saturday afternoon in front of a school record crowd of 55,327 at the newly expanded Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

BOISE STATE (1-0)
at Broncos, Sept. 25

Kellen Moore and Boise State look as if they are going to be in this national championship chase for a while.

Moore hit Austin Pettis with a 13-yard touchdown pass with 1:09 left and No. 3 Boise State passed what might be its toughest test of the season, beating No. 10 Virginia Tech 33-30.

ARIZONA STATE (1-0)
vs. Sun Devils, Oct. 2

Cameron Marshall scored on three of his four first-half carries, and Arizona State used its quick-hitting offense to overwhelm Portland State in a season-opening 54-9 win over the Vikings on Saturday night.

ARIZONA (1-0)
vs. Wildcats, Oct. 9

Nick Foles threw for 360 yards and accounted for three touchdowns to help Arizona pound Toledo 41-2.

WASHINGTON (0-1)
at Huskies, Oct. 16

Riley Nelson threw for two touchdowns in his first start in four years and BYU's defense shut out Washington in the second half as the Cougars won 23-17 on Saturday in the season opener for both teams.

CALIFORNIA (1-0)
vs. Bears, Oct. 30

Kevin Riley threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns in just more than a half of work, Jeff Tedford became California's winningest coach in the modern era and the Golden Bears beat UC Davis 52-3 for a sixth win in their last seven season openers.

UCLA (0-1)
at. Bruins, Nov. 6

Daniel Thomas rushed for 235 yards and two touchdowns and Kansas State rallied for a 31-22 victory over UCLA before a crowd of 51,059, the biggest for a home opener in Wildcats' history.

There were three touchdowns in the final 123 seconds and Kansas State had two, including Thomas' 35-yard gallop after the Wildcats fell on UCLA's onside kick.

WASHINGTON STATE (0-1)
vs. Cougars, Nov. 13

Kendall Hunter rushed for 257 yards and four touchdowns out of Oklahoma State's new-look offense and the Cowboys beat Washington State 65-17 on Saturday night.

USC (1-0)
vs. Trojans, Nov. 20

Southern California was all smiles, except for coach Lane Kiffin.

Matt Barkley and Ronald Johnson had record nights, connecting on three touchdowns to make Kiffin a winner in his Trojans' coaching debut. No. 14 USC beat Hawaii 49-36 to start the post-Pete Carroll era.

STANFORD (1-0)
at. Cardinal, Nov. 27

Andrew Luck threw a career-high four touchdown passes in helping Stanford win its first game without Heisman Trophy runner-up Toby Gerhart, beating Sacramento State 52-17 in the season opener for both teams.

OREGON (1-0)
vs. Ducks, Dec. 4

The Ducks didn't need LaMichael James against New Mexico, and they certainly didn't miss Jeremiah Masoli.

Kenjon Barner and Darron Thomas seamlessly filled the roles of running back and quarterback for No. 11 Oregon in its 72-0 blowout of New Mexico.
