Mt. Carmel (Ca) 3-star linebacker Andrew Mataafa took to Twitter earlier this week to release his top five schools and the Commodores were included. He is a ways off from making any decisions and he talked with DoresDaily about his interest in Vanderbilt and intentions to officially visit sometime this fall.

The Texas Longhorns check in at No 7 overall in the Scout.com team rankings with 2,250 points and don’t ask me how we arrived at that number please Miami with 19 commits, Ohio State 14, Penn State 19, LSU 20, Tennessee 17, Oregon 16 find themselves 1 through 6 just ahead of Texas. The next closest Big 12 team comes in at No 12.
