Oregon-UCLA Game in 3D

The University of Oregon announced today that the Oregon-UCLA game on Thursday, Oct. 21 will be televised in a new technology.

BRISTOL, CT - ESPN 3D makes its first trip to the west coast when it televises UCLA at No. 2 Oregon on Thursday, Oct. 21. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. PT. This will also mark the first Thursday night college football telecast for the new network.

This Saturday ESPN 3D will televise No. 1 Ohio State at No. 20 Wisconsin, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. This marks the fourth 3D appearance for Ohio State. The Buckeye's were first featured in 3D last year on Sept. 9 and will have had three appearances on the new network in 2010.

ESPN 3D will feature approximately 13 college football games this year, including the 2011 BCS National Championship game on Jan. 10. in Glendale, Ariz. Additional dates will be announced as the season progresses; schedule subject to change. Sony is the official sponsor of college football on ESPN 3D, and college football games televised on ESPN 3D will utilize Sony professional cameras.
