Shuttle Schedule Mirrors Normal Game Day

EUGENE – The LTD Sports Shuttles to and from Autzen Stadium for Friday's 4 p.m. kickoff between the University of Oregon and Arizona will operate on the schedule and from locations normally used during Saturday football games throughout the 2010 season.

The schedule and buses were altered for the Ducks' previous weeknight game Oct. 21 vs. UCLA but the LTD Park-and-Ride system that riders have been accustomed for the other four home games will be in effect for the school's home finale.

That means that shuttles will begin operation at noon Friday and will run every 10 to 20 minutes from seven Park-and-Ride locations throughout the Eugene/Springfield area. Return trips will be available only during halftime, as well as for 60 minutes immediately following the conclusion of the game.

The seven Park-and-Ride locations are to and from the LTD Eugene Station, the Lane County Fairgrounds, South Eugene High School (19th & Patterson), Valley River Center (northwest parking lot), the LTD River Road Station, the LTD Springfield Station, and Symantec.

However riders should be aware of the added traffic anticipated surrounding Valley River Center due to the day following Thanksgiving traditionally being one of the busiest retail days of the year.

The round-trip fare is $5 per person and collected at the pre-game boarding. The LTD Eugene Station and the Lane County Fairgrounds will again offer a discounted round-trip fare of only $3.

The parking lots on the grounds of Autzen Stadium also will open four hours prior to kickoff.
