Marshall Anticipating An Oregon Offer

Safe to say that Raleigh (NC) Millbrook running back Keith Marshall is deserving of the five-star rating he received coming off a spectacular junior season that produced many breath-taking highlights. With loads of offers from some of the nation's best programs, Marshall is taking his time, though it appears a particular Pac-12 school has already made an impression.

Do you currently have an offer from Oregon?

"No."

Have you had any contact with Oregon?

"I talked to the running backs coach and he said he'd be offering me as soon as he got a chance to come by my school."

Which coaches from Oregon have you been in contact with? How often?

"I talked to coach (Gary) Campbell once.

Has Oregon ever discussed the possibility of potentially offering you?

"He said they will definitely be offering me."

What is your overall interest in Oregon at this point in the recruiting process?

"I'm interested in Oregon because coach (Chip) Kelly has built a great winning tradition."

How would you describe yourself as a player?

"I'm a fast and explosive athlete that can catch the ball out of the backfield and gain yards after first contact."

Is there a player at the collegiate or professional level that you try to pattern your game after?

"No."

What are you looking for in a program?

"Good football program along with solid academics."

Have you given any thought as to what you might want to study when you get to college?

"Yes. I am still processing, but I am leaning towards a business major."

Who do you currently have offers from?

"I have 20 offers from most of the ACC, and SEC schools along with offers from USC, Notre Dame, and Cal."

Is there anyone who is leading for you at this point (ex. Top 3? Top 5? Top 10? etc.)?

"I'm not ready to narrow my list down yet."

What's your schedule like the next few months? Planning on going to any camps? Junior Days? Unofficial visits?

"My parents and I are going to put together a schedule over the next few months."
