Do you currently have an offer from Oregon?

"No sir."

What kind of contact have you had with Oregon since the recruiting process started for you?

"From Oregon I've talked to (linebackers) coach Don Pellum and he said he'll be in town in May, so I'm gonna talk to him then. And with recruiting, I have two offers: one from SMU and one from UCLA. I'm talking to Washington, Stanford, Cal, Minnesota, Purdue, Washington State, USC and I would like to hear more from the SEC."

How often would you say that you're in contact with coach Pellum?

"Well I've only talked to him one time, but he recruits Dorsey a lot...actually two of my god brothers -- Jeremiah Johnson and Jerome Johnson -- actually went to Oregon, so he recruits the Dorsey area very good."

Has he been the only coach from Oregon that you've been in contact with?

"Yes sir."

Has coach Pellum mentioned anything about a potential offer coming through for you?

"Yes he has."

What is your overall interest in Oregon at this point?

"Oregon is a great option to go to. I really like the fact that they're very open, so it's a very good choice."

Is there anything about the program in particular that has captured your interest?

"Their speed. I like their speed a lot."

How would you describe yourself as a player?

"I'm very hard working, determined and I cherish the game of football a lot. I love learning new things about the game of football. I love learning new techniques and stuff like that. I'm very aggressive and physical. I have a high motor, I'm always going. I have to be around the ball."

Is there a guy at the collegiate or professional level that you try to pattern your game after at all?

"I don't pattern my game after no one, but I love Clay Matthews' motor."

What are you looking for in a program?

"Me having a 4.25 GPA, I really stress the fact of academics, so academics is really a key to my decision as well."

Have you given any thoughts as to what you might want to study when you get to college?

"Right now, no. Not yet. I was thinking in the science field. Maybe kinesiology or something like that."

Out of the schools that have offered and of the schools that you've been hearing from, do you have any favorites at this point?

"No, I'm just open right now."

Do you have any plans to attend any camps or take any unofficial visits?

"No, not at the moment right now. It all depends on how things go...I went to Cal's Junior Day and I visited UCLA and USC."
