Do you currently have an offer from Oregon?
"No I don't."
What, if any, contact have you had with Oregon since the recruiting process started for you?
"They mail me everyday and I e-mail with (special teams/tight ends coach) Tom Osborne and we just talk about how I would fit in at the University of Oregon."
How often would you say that you're in contact with coach Osborne?
"Like every two weeks."
Has coach Osborne been the only coach from Oregon that you've been in contact with?
"No, I've talked to the (linebackers) coach, Don Pellum...I just give him a call or e-mail him and just try to talk to him."
What would you say your overall interest in Oregon is?
"A lot...I just like how they compete a lot. I like how they compete year after year."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
"Very aggressive, very physical."
Is there a guy at the collegiate or professional level that you try to pattern your game after?
What are you looking for in a program?
"The first thing I'm looking for is academics. Without academics, I'm not interested, because without academics there's no point in going to the college -- football isn't my whole life. After the academics, it's just the environment -- who I'm surrounding myself with so I won't get in to any trouble -- and third of all, the team and team chemistry. I don't want to go to a team where there's arguments; I want to go to a team where the tone is already set for me and I can come in a be a better person."
Have you given any thought as to what you might want to study when you get to college?
"I wanna be a chef when I grow up, so culinary."
What offers do you currently hold from other schools?
"I have an offer from BYU, Arizona State, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Nebraska and Nevada."
Out of those schools, would you say that you have a favorite?
Do you have a top five at this point?
"I'm still just waiting for more offers right now and we'll see as the year goes on."
If Oregon were to offer you, where would they stand?
"They would stand number one."
Do you have any plans to attend any camps or take any unofficial visits?
"Yeah, I'm gonna be attending the Stanford Nike camp. I went to the USC one, so I want to see (how I do) up north. I'm also going to the BYU and Oregon State camps, the USC Rising Stars camp and probably the Washington State camp...I'm gonna take my official visits during my senior year of high school and I think my first official is going to be to Nebraska."
