When eDuck last spoke with Los Angeles (CA) Susan Miller Dorsey three-star linebacker Jeremiah Allison about a month ago, he sported two offers: one from SMU and one from UCLA. Since then, Allison claims that both Boise State and Colorado State have also officially offered, stating that he expects another big-time offer to come very, very soon.
"I was talking to (Oregon linebacker coach) Don Pellum via e-mail," said Allison on Wednesday. "I heard he had been talking to my counselor because my counselor said that they want to make me an offer.
"They have to come and evaluate me one more time," continued Allison, "but they're gonna come and make the offer."
According to Allison, Pellum's second evaluation of him could come as early as next week, as Pellum visited Dorsey just last week to check in on him.
"I'm still in track," stated Allison, "so whenever he's here, he'll let me know."
Allison says that he's still hearing from schools such as Washington, Cal, Stanford, Minnesota, Purdue and USC and that recently, schools such as Nevada and Duke have picked up contact with him.
As far as future travel plans go, Allison says he's competing in a passing league with the hopes of performing well at nationals with his team later this summer.
"Right now, I'm still playing in the passing league," Allison said. "We have a few games coming up and then nationals in Texas.
"After that, it'll just be preparing for the football season."
Stay tuned to eDuck as we'll have the latest news on Allison and the rest of the Ducks' target class for 2012.
