Do you currently have an offer from Oregon?
"No...I think they're about to offer me, but they haven't offered me yet."
What kind of contact have you had with Oregon since the recruiting process started for you?
"Steve Greatwood, the offensive line coach, e-mailed me and said that he got done watching my film and he liked the way I play. From there on out, we've been keeping in touch."
How often would you say that you're in contact with coach Greatwood?
"Every other two weeks."
Has coach Greatwood been the only coach from Oregon that you've been in touch with?
What is your overall interest in Oregon at this point?
"I have a big interest in Oregon. If I got an offer from them, that would be my number one school right now. That's a school that I really like and it's close to home."
Other than proximity, what else about Oregon stands out to you?
"The program. I like their program a lot. Their a good program and if they offer, I believe I would fit in there."
Has coach Greatwood specified a particular position along the offensive line that he likes you at?
"He said guard; offensive guard."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
"I'm a physical player. On the field, I like to be very physical but off the field, I like to be friends with everybody and stay humble."
Is there a player at the collegiate or professional level that you try to pattern your game after?
"Yeah. Mike Iupati."
What are you looking for in a program?
"The education, playing time and big-time exposure."
Have you given any thought as to what you might want to study in college?
"Communications and entertainment."
What are some of the offers that you have from other schools right now?
"Washington, UCLA, Oregon State, Arizona State, Vanderbilt, UNLV, Utah, Idaho, SMU and Arizona."
You mentioned that Oregon would be at or near the top of your list if they offered. Out of the schools that you've been in contact with throughout the recruiting process, do you have any favorites at this point?
"Right now I don't have a top five, but I think the offers I have is good and I think if Oregon were to offer, that would be big for me and my family. They really like Oregon."
As far camps and unofficial visits go, where have you been and where do you plan on going this summer?
"This summer, I plan on taking unofficial visits somewhere but I don't know where yet. I'm taking three core classes during the summer, so my summer is gonna be pretty packed this year. I went to UCLA the other day for a Nike camp. That was at USC, so I thought I'd take an unofficial to UCLA. They have a nice place out there."
