Oregon 21-17 at Halftime

Despite two turnovers in its own territory that led to 10 ASU points, Oregon took a 21-17 lead into halftime. Darron Thomas threw two touchdowns including the last one to tight end David Paulson with just 27 seconds left in the half.

Darron Thomas threw for 187 yards on 13-of-16 with touchdowns to Paulson and Lavasier Tuinei. Thomas also rushed for 10 yards, but did give up an interception.

De'Anthony Thomas rushed for a touchdown of 17 yards. Kenjon Barner, starting in place of LaMichael James rushed for 23 yards and would have had a touchdown of 60 yards but an illegal blocking penalty nullified the run.

Brock Osweiller threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns (to Mike Willie and Gerell Robinson) and was picked off by Cliff Harris, who returned the ball to midfield. Harris' interception gave the Ducks the opportunity to score the last touchdown of the half.

Overall, Oregon had 245 total yards of offense to ASU 219. Penalties were frequently called in the first half with Oregon being flagged four times while ASU flagged five.
