Kenjon Barner had 105 yards of rushing on nine carries and two touchdowns.
Bryan Bennett making his first career start was 8-for-16, 120 yards passing and two touchdowns. Bennett also rushed for 71 yards. Bennett's first scoring passing went to DeAnthony Thomas on a 14-yard play. Later in the first quarter Bennett found David Paulson for 31-yard score.
In the second quarter Oregon linebacker Michael Clay picked off Colorado's Tyler Hansen and returned the 32 yards for a touchdown.
Punter Jackson Rice got into the scoring column by converting the first point after by running ball into the endzone.
Oregon had a total of 358 yards of offense to Colorado's 144. Penalties haunted the Buffaloes in the first half as they were flagged nine times to Oregon's three.
