Halftime: USC 21-7

Eugene -- A stout defense and an efficient offense gave USC a 21-7 halftime lead over Oregon in front of a pack Autzen Stadium. USC quarterback Matt Barkley hit three touchdown passes while the Trojan defense held the Ducks scoreless in the first quarter. The Ducks scored once in the 2nd quarter and was headed into the endzone until LaMichael James fumbled on the USC 9, killing Oregon's drive.

Matt Barkley hit Marqise Lee on a 59-yard strike in the first quarter and followed up with a 12-yards scoring toss to Robert Woods to give the Trojans a 14-0 lead after the successful point after kicks.

Oregon scored on a 29 yard pass from Darron Thomas to De'Anthony Thomas allowing the Ducks to cut USC's lead to 14-7 following the successful PAT by Alejandro Maldanado.

USC pumped to the score up to 21-7 following a second Barkley-to-Woods hook up of four yards and PAT.

Barkley was 15-for-19, 186 yards and three touchdowns. Darron Thomas was 11-for-16, 134 yards and one touchdown. LaMichael James was the game's leading rusher with 66 yards on 14 carries.

Lee was the leading receiver for the game with 105 yards on three receptions and the touchdown.
