Kosinski helped the No. 1 Oregon women's squad win the Pepsi Team Invitational by winning the 5,000 meters in a meet-record and nation's-best 15:36.90. The time was a also a personal best for Kosinski, trimming off 21 seconds from her previous best time. The time was also the fastest 5K by an Oregon runner in 24 years, ranked third on the school's all-time top 10 list and No. 7 in Pac-12 history.
It was Kosinski's first outdoor 5,000 meters in nearly two years. The fifth-year senior missed all of the 2011 outdoor season with a back injury.
In other track news, the Oregon's men moved up three spots to No. 13 in the latest USTFCCCA National Team Computer Rankings for Division I Outdoor Track & Field.
