Top DB At Oregon Nike Camp

Thomas "T.J." McKay, 6-0, 185 pounds from Palmdale (Calif.) had a strong showing at the Nike Camp in Eugene (Ore.) two weeks ago where he was the top defensive back in attendance. McKay has good size and is very skillful. He has the ability to play either corner or safety in college although we project him more as a safety right now.

McKay clocked a 4.68 in the 40, a 4.23 in the shuttle and jumped 29 inches in the vertical at the Nike Camp while shutting down just about every receiver he went up against.

As a junior, McKay earned All-League honors after totaling 60 tackles, three forced fumbles and two interceptions. He also played some receiver and caught 15 passes for 215 yards.

Oregon, Washington State, Arizona State, Arizona, San Diego State and UCLA are currently leading the way for McKay.
