Do you currently have an offer from Oregon?
"Not that I know of. I mean the coach had told me he wanted to offer me, but they wanted to learn more about me and stuff like that, so as of right now, not that I know of I don't have one."
When was the last time you had contact with Oregon?
"I want to say a few weeks ago."
During the May evaluation period?
"Yeah...I talked to them a little bit, so it was good."
Which Oregon coach came by to visit you and what did the two of you get to discuss?
"It was the running backs coach, coach (Gary) Campbell. We were talking and stuff about the program and me playing and stuff like that. He was glad he got to meet me and he was talking about my playing style and all kinds of stuff like that...He told me he wants to offer me and he basically said that they were going to, it's just a matter of them getting to know me and me getting to know them and stuff like that."
What is your overall interest in Oregon at this point?
"It's kind of hard to say not having an offer from them, but you know if I were to get one, I think I would look in to it. University of Oregon is a good football place and if some interest would pick up, I think it's a high possibility that if they offered that they would be a school I would look in to highly."
Is there anything in particular about Oregon that stands out to you when you consider them as maybe a potential option?
?"The offense. I think the offense is the kind of offense I could fit in to really well because it's something I'm running now in high school and I've been running it since 8th grade, so I think that kind of offense is just something I'm comfortable in and it's just something I could really fit in to and I'm just used to it and I could fit in well to that kind of offense."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
?"I would call myself an all-around back. There's not really one thing in particular that I can do good, but one thing I do in particular that stands out the most is getting in to space and make people miss when I get in to space. Making people miss and then using my speed to be able to get touchdowns, so that's pretty much it."
Is there a player at the collegiate or professional level that you try to pattern your game after?
"Out of all the college running backs, I used to watch LaMichael James run a lot. One of the running backs that used to go to my high school, he plays for Fresno State, I used to watch him too -- Robert Rouse. They like to use their quickness and stuff like that and make people miss and that's the kind of running style that I like to do, so those are the two I like to watch at the collegiate level."
What are you looking for in a program?
"Really where I fit in best at, where I feel like I'm most needed, and where I feel like I'm getting the best vibe from. It's going to be the next step of my life, so I want to make sure that it's a good fit for me, not only on the football field, but off the football field as well."
Have you given any thought as to what you might want to study when you get to college?
"As of right now, I'm thinking of majoring in business. Until I find something that might open my eyes a little bit more, as of right now, I think that's what I want to do."
Do you have a top five or a list of favorites at this point?
"The ones I can tell you off the top of my head that I like the most is: Boise State, Arizona, Arizona State, and Nebraska. Those are the ones that I like right now. I have a lot of Pac-12 offers; I think I have the whole Pac-12 except for USC and Oregon as of right now. One SEC (offer) from Vanderbilt and there's some other schools, but those are the top four and I'm just looking to find a fit...I think Oregon could possibly be one that could sneak in to that top five."
Do you have a timetable for when you would like to make a decision?
"I'd like to have it before (the season) if I could visit every school, but I can't. I'm hoping right after my senior season that I have my decision pretty much set on where I want to go."
As far as camps and unofficial visits go, where have you been and where do you plan on going over the next couple of months?
"The only place I've visited unofficially is UCLA. My team and I are going to a team camp up at Fresno this Friday and they have offered me, so I'm going to be talking to them a little bit about that. This summer I might be visiting the Arizona schools unofficially, but if not, I plan on taking official visits there, as well as Boise State and maybe Nebraska too on an official visit. Those are really the ones that I'm thinking about the next few months and learning more about possibly taking trips there."
