Fan Day on Saturday Marks End of Fall Camp

The Oregon Ducks announced today that the annual Fan Day is scheduled for Saturday, August 25th, beginning at 11 a.m. at the east end of Autzen Stadium for the unveiling of the new Spirit tee shirt. Fans will have an opportunity to meet the players inside the stadium from noon until 2 p.m. the same day.

The annual event has been popular with families as it is one of the few opportunities for Ducks fans to intermingle with the players, cheerleaders and the Duck mascot. It is the perfect time for autographs, but it is requested that only one autograph per person, per player because of the large number of people expect to be in attendance.

The players will exit the stadium promptly at 2 p.m. according to a media release issued by the Oregon Athletic Department.

The media release also indicates that the day will get underway with the unveiling of the new spirit tee shirt that will be on sale for $8.00 each. Portions of the proceeds from sells of the tee shirt will go to the Oregon Marching Band and the Duck rally squads.

The Duck Store inside the Moshofsky center will also be open on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fans are asked to park in the east lot of Autzen Stadium near the school's baseball stadium (PK Park), with the lot accessible through Entry 5 (off Leo Harris Parkway) beginning at 10:30 a.m. Entry into the stadium will be available only through the East Entrance, with all "Fan Day" activities taking place on the field.

Fans will be permitted to bring bottled water into the stadium, and there will be watering stations located at field level. Concessions will not be available in or around the perimeter of the stadium, nor will fans be allowed to bring any other food or beverage items other than water inside Autzen Stadium.

Sponsors for the event include Bi-Mart, Carl's Jr. Restaurants, Jerry's Home Improvement Center, Oregon Community Credit Union, Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co., and Umpqua Dairy.
