Tyner Decommits; What's Next For Oregon?

Oregon is officially back on "Thomas Tyner Watch".

The electric Aloha High School running back sent shockwaves through the state of Oregon on Tuesday night when had nine touchdowns through four games. However, Newby, who visited Nebraska earlier this season, has not set a visit date for a trip to Eugene yet.

Certainly, with Tyner testing the waters, the gates have opened for other players to receive offers from Oregon. With five months to go until signing day, a lot can happen before the pen hits the paper and the ink dries, and should the Ducks extend more offers to other running backs, it will no doubt fuel rumors as to Tyner's true destination.

Players like Laray Smith out of Brooklyn (N.Y.) have given an indication that they want to visit Oregon, despite having not received an official offer. But, with the college season in full swing and coaches scheduling recruiting trips around games and practices, expect attention to center more around Tyner and his future.
