"I didn't want to have an individually great season," Ross said. "I wouldn't care if I had less than a catch a game. I just wanted for my team to win every single time we had an opportunity too."
Despite putting his senior season behind him, Ross isn't in any hurry to pick a school to attend next year. Instead he is choosing to focus on finishing this semester of high school with good grades, but he said that he has five favorites, all of which are situated in the Pac-12 conference.
"My top five right now is Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA and Arizona," Ross said.
Ross said he has kept in contact with Oregon coach Gary Campbell and talks with him once a week, with topics focusing on football, family and what he wants to major on in college. Ross mentioned that the relationship between him and his future coaches will factor "100 percent" into his upcoming decision.
"If a coach is good with his players, they can bond and have a good time together outside of football," Ross said. "I feel like I can play for that coach, in any offense, on any team."
Having already officially visited Oregon and Oregon State already, Ross said he is scheduled to take two more officials: Washington on December 7, and UCLA on December 17.
"Sometime in January I think I'll make my decision," Ross said.
