The 6-foot-5, 220-pound linebacker thinks he is close to getting more offers.
For Cobb, the prospect of having so many offers so early is a confidence booster.
"It's a real exciting time," Cobb said. "I just want to help my family and be the first one to go to college for sports."
"The atmosphere, the campus," Cobb said. "I hear they have great academics at the school."
Oregon has been expressing it's interest in Cobb through a couple different avenues.
"They send me mail to my school," Cobb said. "Some players from Oregon have hit me up on Facebook about and talked to me about the recruiting process."
Cobb doesn't yet know where he will camp or visit this offseason, but he has been keeping himself busy this offseason with his team.
"I've been running track, doing seven-on-seven tournaments with my team and just working hard in the weight room and classroom to improve myself for my senior year," Cobb said.
