Brown To Camp At Oregon

Four-star Fontana (Calif.) Summit wide receiver Erik Brown has been picking up steam on the recruiting trail, especially within the Pac-12.

At 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, Erik Brown has been receiving plenty of attention from the Pac-12, holding offers from Washington, Oregon State and UCLA.

"I have about eight (total) offers," Brown said. "As far as interest, I have interest from most of the Pac-12 schools ."

Brown said he plans to attend a Pac-12 school. He has been in contact with USC, and has a lot of interest in another Pac-12 school, Oregon.

"I like their program," Brown said. "I like what they're doing with their players. I like the way they run their offense. It's electric, it's quick…I can see myself in that offense."

Though Brown hasn't been in contact with Oregon, he has a connection with the program and said he will be traveling to Eugene this offseason.

"I'm definitely going to make it to Oregon's camp," Brown said. "I actually kind of have a relationship with Coach (Scott) Frost up there because my cousin - my brother pretty much - Devon Blackmon went to Oregon."

Blackmon left the program in November of last season, but Brown said it doesn't impact his view of the program.

"All he's told me is that Oregon wasn't the place for him," Brown said. "It didn't fit his skill set. He hasn't said anything negative about them."

In addition to camping at Oregon, Brown said he plans to visit Boise State, Notre Dame, Oregon State, USC, UCLA and Washington this offseason.
