Michiah Quick Talks Oregon Offer

Fresno (Calif.) Central High East athlete Michiah Quick picked up another offer late last week from the University of Oregon.

Already with an impressive offer list, Michiah Quick, listed as the top wide receiver prospect in the country by Scout, received another offer from Oregon via offensive coordinator Scott Frost.

"I was kind of surprised," Quick said. "He told me the offer would come as long as my grades stay high, and they've been high forever."

Quick, who also plays corner back, was offered as a wide receiver, but said the coaching staff did not specify in what way he would be utilized should he become a Duck.

"I really don't know too much about the system," Quick said. "I've seen them play but I don't know where they would place me at in the offense, so I'm just curious about that."

Though he does not have a visit date set yet, Quick reiterated that he is still planning on coming up to Oregon and finding out what Eugene is all about.

"I'm just waiting to get out there to see what's up with the system, the facilities and how much I like it," Quick said.
