EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is just back from the Peyton Manning Quarterback Camp and is working out with the team in unofficial workouts. Mariota, last season's All-Pac-12 first-team quarterback is entering his sophomore as the clear leader of the Oregon Ducks.
Marcus Mariota spoke to media on Thursday afternoon just before heading out to the new workout fields on the remodeled Autzen Complex.
While at the Manning Camp, Mariota was able to meet several of the best quarterbacks in the country including Johnny Manziel, a player whom Mariota had met 2010 at one of Oregon's camps. Mariota also had an opportunity to see an old friend, Bryan Bennett, who backed up Mariota in 2013 and has since transferred to Southeastern Louisiana.
