Practice Update: Week II Monday Afternoon

The Oregon Athletic Department issued an afternoon report as media nor the general public are allowed to watch practice. On Monday afternoon the Ducks apparently continued to drill and practice through repetition.

According to the Oregon Athletic Department in this Afternoon Practice Report the Ducks worked outside with 11-on-11 drills and one-on-one drills.

DeAnthony Thomas was mentioned for a long run in a drill identified as FUJI. Other running backs sited as having a good practice were Byron Marshall, Kenny Bassett and Thomas Tyner (for receiving skills).

Several players were noticed in the one-on-one drills. Derrick Malone and Boseko Lokombo recorded interceptions. Linebacker Danny Mattingly held his own against running back Kani Benoit and Brett Bafaro looked good against Tyner.

Several more players were cited in the report and can be found by clicking the above link to the story.

The AD report also mentioned an injury to sophomore tight end Pharaoh Brown though the extent was not stated.
