Ducks Up By 18 at the Half

CHAROLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Marcus Mariota ran for a touchdown and threw for a score as the Oregon Ducks took a 28-10 lead into the lockerroom for halftime against the Virginia Cavaliers. Mariota had three carries for 102 yards including a 71-yard touchdown run in the first drive of the game.

Oregon running back De'Anthony Thomas had eight carries for 84 yards including a 40-yard touchdown run. Thomas also had a one-yard TD plunge. Marcus Mariota went 8-for-15 in passing for 127 yard including a 30-yard strike to Bralon Addison for a TD.

Virginia scored on a 45-yard run by Khalek Shepherd for the Cavaliers only touchdown but they also tacked on a 37-field goal by Ian Frye to make the halftime score 28-10.

Oregon had a total of 325 yards in the half compared to Virginia's 182 with the Ducks racking up 200 yards rushing.
