The Pac-12 Conference named Marcus Mariota as the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Colorado last Saturday. Mariota set a personal record of by scoring seven touchdowns (five passing, two rushing) against the Buffaloes in Oregon's 57-16 win.
is the conference's leader in passing efficiency (conference games only) with a rating of 172.1. So far in conference games Mariota is 27-for-52, 469 yards and seven touchdowns. He has also rushed for three touchdowns in conference play.
For the season Mariota has thrown for 1,358 yards with 14 TDs and no interceptions. He has rushed for 338 net yards and crossed the goal line seven times running the ball.
Monday's announcement marks the second straight week that a Duck has been named Conference Player of the Week. Last week, Bralon Addison was the Special Teams Player of the Week. De'Anthony Thomas was named Offensive Player of the Week following the Virginia game on Sept. 9.
