Snow Ball Fight May be Costly to Players

Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich said today that disciplinary action has already begun. Helfrich's comments were made after a YouTube video went viral over the last several days showing University of Oregon students including members of the football team throwing snow ball and stopping a car driven by a retired university professor and harassing the elderly gentleman.

"On Saturday, I was made aware of an incident that occurred Friday afternoon during the snow day involving multiple Oregon students including members of the football team," said Helfrich in a released statement. "The behavior exhibited in the video is completely unacceptable and dangerous. We take this matter very seriously and disciplinary actions have begun."

No individual player has been officially identified and Helfrich's statement was void of naming anyone in particular or was there any mention of what type of disciplinary action that will be taken.
