Three Questions and Answers from Lousi

Haniteli Lousi is a 6-5, 295-pound four star offensive tackle out of College of San Mateo Junior College in San Mateo, Calif., signed a National Letter of Intent to Oregon last December. He is now in the process of finishing up classes at San Mateo JC and will be enrolling at Oregon for spring term. He is part of the 2014 recruiting class.

Q: Why did you chose the Ducks?

A: "Everyone at CSN is close, but when my friends went to other schools, they said it was just a bunch of individuals and they spent time with a certain group of people and that's who they rolled with. When I went to Oregon, it was nice to see that everyone talked to each other."

Q: What's the process like for you to finish Junior College and go to Eugene?

A: "I have to finish an online class before I can go there. I'll be there for sure for the spring quarter. I have three years to play two seasons."

Q: Do you expect to be able to make an impact right away? A: "That's what I hope. I plan on coming in and competing right off the bat. Hopefully I'm someone they can be able to use right away and hopefully start."
