Breeland Commits To Oregon

Oregon picked up its second commit from the 2015 class in the form of Mission Viejo (Calif.) Trabuco Hills tight end Jacob Breeland.

Oregon received it's second verbal commitment from the 2015 class in Trabuco Hills tight end Jacob Breeland. Breeland told eDuck.com on Tuesday night that he notified the Ducks staff of his decision on Monday.

The commitment comes on the heels of an unofficial visit he took to Oregon last Thursday and Friday.

"When I visited I just felt good about it," Breeland said. "The coaching staff was just unbelievable. They're all great guys. The campus is just really nice and the program is outstanding.

"My dad loved it to so we just went home and talked about it and prayed about it. It was something that I needed to do."

During the visit Breeland was further impressed by the Jaqua Academic Center.

"The academics are really nice," Breeland said. "The student athlete program...just all the help that they give you is really nice. They support the students really good so I like that a lot.

Even before visiting, Breeland had a feeling something could happen on the trip. Once he met the coaching staff and saw what the program had to offer, the decision was easier to make.

"I knew from there I could definitely see myself playing here," he said.
