Hawkins Expecting More Offers

Buena Park (Calif.) wide receiver Jaylinn Hawkins states where he could be headed next and which schools he thinks are close to offering.

Buena Park wide receiver Jaylinn Hawkins could see more offers coming in shortly.

The 6-foot-1, 164-pound four-star prospect's last offer came in two weeks ago from Fresno State. He thinks his next one could be coming from the Pac-12.

"It's looking like ASU, Washington, UCLA and USC will offer," he stated in a text message on Thursday evening.

Hawkins plans on visiting UCLA in the near future, but hasn't set a specific date. In addition to those previously mentioned schools, other Pac-12 schools are recruiting him aggressively.

"Washington State is recruiting really hard," Hawkins stated. "USC as well, and Cal and Oregon."

Hawkins claimed that he and his father have been in contact with Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich and receivers coach Matt Lubick through email and social media and that he has been receiving mail from the program.

The four-star receiver believes Oregon will offer him and is hoping to visit.

"Oregon is a place I would love to visit," Hawkins stated. "I'm still deciding and trying to figure that out."
