Hawkins picks up Oregon offer

Buena Park (Calif.) wide receiver Jaylinn Hawkins picks up an offer from Oregon.

Buena Park wide receiver Jaylinn Hawkins added Oregon to his growing list of offers on Thursday.

Wide receivers coach Matt Lubick and offensive coordinator Scott Frost offered the four-star prospect as an athlete, something Hawkins said fit his style of play perfectly even if he's still weighing his options.

"I haven't made my decision on what side of the ball I will play on," Hawkins told eDuck.

The Ducks will be competing with several schools for Hawkins including Washington, Oregon State, California, Boise State and Arizona State to name a few. But the offer was something that Hawkins said made him "hella excited."

"It's up there on my list," Hawkins said.

Hawkins said he does plan to visit Oregon but doesn't have a specific date set, only hinting that it could come in the summer or fall.
