Oregon Nike Football Training Camp Recruiting Notebook

-Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic running back Cameron Scarlett got his newest offer on Thursday from UCLA. Scarlett said he was initially supposed to camp with the Bruins before the offer, but got the offer instead. He plans to camp with them still later this month. Scarlett will also visit USC when he's in Los Angeles. Scarlett now has 14 offers, with nine from the Pac-12 as well as an offer from Notre Dame. He plans to visit Notre Dame officially and will likely visit Stanford and Oregon unofficially this summer as well as Washington.

-Santa Margarita (Calif.) 2016 quarterback K.J. Costello was offered by Oregon State on Saturday after he took an unofficial visit. Florida State, Tennessee, Cal, Miami, Michigan, Virginia and Boise State have all offered and Wake Forest could be offering soon. USC and UCLA are also recruiting Costello and he said offers could come by end of the summer after he camps with both. Costello also plans to camp with Stanford this summer.

-La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat 2016 receiver Trevon Sidney has six offers, from UCLA, USC, Miami, Utah, Washington and Arizona and said Notre Dame, Oregon, Colorado and Oregon State have all been showing a lot of interest and came by to see him in the spring. Sidney plans to camp at the Bruin Elite Camp at UCLA and the USC's Rising Stars Camp.

-La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis 2016 receiver Dylan Crawford got an offer from Oregon State on Saturday to join offers from Hawaii, USC, Tennessee, Miami, Arizona State, UCLA, Utah and SMU. Crawford visited Oregon State and Oregon on Saturday while in the area. Crawford said that Michigan could be close to offering too. Crawford plans to camp with Michigan, Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State and Tennessee. USC, UCLA, Tennessee, Oregon State and Arizona State stand out early on. Crawford also plans to camp with USC and UCLA this summer.

-Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic offensive lineman Blake Brandel has offers from Oregon State, Washington State, Colorado and Nevada. Brandel said that Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, USC and UCLA have all been in regular contact with him and said they want to watch him as a senior so he's in no rush to make a decision and wants to see what offers come. Oregon State was his first offer and a school he's highly interested in.

-Pocatello (Idaho) Highland center Tristen Hoge has been committed to Notre Dame since December and said he's not wavered one bit. He's heading out to South Bend next weekend and will spend a few days there, camping with the Irish. Hoge said he was already working the phones with some of the quarterbacks the Irish offered after Blake Barnett decommitted and is making his pitch for Notre Dame.

-Spokane (Wash.) Shadle Park quarterback Brett Rypien committed to Boise State earlier in the spring and the four-star said he'll be camping with the Broncos this summer so he can work with offensive coordinator Mike Sanford. Rypien said he's recruiting fellow Washington native Chico McClatcher the hardest, but said there are several others he's after, including Josh Butler, the brother of Boise State commit Akilian Butler.

-Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure quarterback Ricky Town committed to USC in January and the five-star, who's still working back from a minor knee injury earlier this spring, said he's planning to be on campus later this month for USC's Rising Stars to help recruit. Town said the two players he's recruiting the hardest for the Trojans are five-star cornerback Iman Marshall and four-star receiver Christian Kirk.

-Vancouver (Wash.) Evergreen receiver Justice Murphy committed to Utah just two weeks ago, but after an MVP performance at Friday's NWEFC, he was offered by Oregon State and Washington State. Now, Colorado, Boise State, UCLA and Washington are showing interest in him, and all stopped by his school in the spring. Murphy said he may camp at Washington in June and has definite plans to camp with Utah this month.

-San Ramon (Calif.) Dougherty Valley offensive lineman Kieffer Longson owns offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Florida State, Missouri, Ohio State, San Jose State, Utah, Utah and Washington State and said Cal, UCLA and USC have been recruiting him hard too. Longson said he still plans to serve his LDS mission following his graduation, and would enroll wherever he signs in the fall of 2017.

-Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic 2016 running back Brandon Wellington has four offers, from Washington, Oregon State, Washington State and Colorado while Boise State and USC are also showing a good deal of interest in him.

-Salt Lake City (Utah) East linebacker Christian Folau remains committed to Stanford but several schools are still trying with him, including Utah, BYU, Oregon, Vanderbilt, UCLA and Washington.

-Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic 2016 quarterback Harley Kirsch has one offer, from Wyoming, but is also hearing consistently from Oregon State, Washington, Washington State and Colorado and visited Iowa State this spring.
